Property24.com lists houses, flats, vacant land and farms from all of SA's leading estate agents and has the largest database of private property for sale by estate agents throughout South Africa.
As part of the product design team at Now Boarding, I helped to craft the user experience and interface designs for both the desktop & mobile websites.
With the ever-growing demand for property, finding a suitable property to buy or rent is becoming more and more difficult.
Users often get lost in wasting valuable time by clicking through hundreds of properties that are not what they are looking for.
The goal was to refine the platform’s search and filter functionality to help users easily find properties suited for their needs.
Analyse the first version of the platform to see how it can be improved.

The property search tool is one of the most important elements of the website. Careful consideration was given to filters and options to allow for an easy, yet powerful property search.
The property listings search results were designed to show a quick overview of information, yet still allowing the user to make a well-considered choice and avoid wasting time clicking through properties that do not meet their needs.
With large images of the property, combined with well laid out key information, users can easily get a feel for all the most important aspects of the property without having to endlessly scroll through unwanted information.
When a user is ready to take the next step, they can easily connect with agents or sellers via the platform to arrange viewings or ask for more information.
